Devprayag: Aa car fell uncontrolled near the Alaknanda River on the Badrinath National Highway about 200 meters below the Alaknanda River. The wife injured in the accident died on the way to the hospital. While the husband is undergoing treatment at the base hospital Srinagar. It is being told that on Sunday, the couple were returning to their village Luneth (Pauri) from Delhi. Around four o'clock in the evening, before Laxmoli on the Badrinath highway, his car went uncontrolled and rolled down the road. The car rolled and fell directly into the Alaknanda River.

Her husband is undergoing treatment: According to information received from sources, the people immediately called the rescue team from Kirtinagar and Devprayag as soon as they got the news of the accident. The injured were somehow brought to the road. Tehsildar SS Kathait said that Suman Dev (52) son Pitambar Dutt and Parmeshwari Devi (50) wife Suman were riding in the crashed car. Shrikot police chowki in-charge Mahesh Rawat said that both of them were sent to the base hospital for treatment, but the woman died before reaching the hospital. While her husband is undergoing treatment.

it has been learned that after the incident, the dumper driver escaped along with the vehicle. After getting the information, the police also reached the spot and informed the family by taking the body in possession. The police have sent the injured  AIIMS for post-mortem after filling the deadpan of the dead body. At the same time, Anuj's father Prem Bahadur Kshetri has given a complaint to the Kotwali police late in the evening. Whereupon he accused the dumper of driving recklessly. Police have registered a case against the unidentified dumper driver on the basis of the complaint.
