Now the police have registered a case against the accused daughter-in-law, including her daughter-in-law, after investigating the complaint of the victim's family.

Jaswinder Singh resident Hira Mahal Colony complained to the Kotwali Nabha Police that his boy was married to Komalpreet Kaur resident Mullampur district Ludhiana. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case against Komalpreet Kaur, her mother Kuldeep Kaur, father Amar Singh, brother Harkanwal Singh resident of village Khandur police station Jodha Ludhiana, Jagar Singh resident of Mullanpur district Ludhiana.
