New Delhi: A case has been registered against Rajya Sabha MP and Congress veteran Digvijay Singh in various sections including disturbing social harmony, spreading hatred in the name of religion in Kasya police station of Kushinagar. According to Jagran.com, Divyendu Mani Tripathi, son of MLA Rajinikanth Mani Tripathi of Kushinagar, complained late Wednesday night and demanded action on the Congress leader.

The complaint said that Digvijay Singh had made a statement on a channel on the evening of September 17 that people were raping in temples wearing saffron clothes. Earlier on September 1, he also said that people from RSS and Hindu organizations take money from ISI and are involved in more terrorist incidents than Muslims. Digvijay described the Saraswati Shishu Mandir schools run across the country as the epicenter of terrorist activities. Social harmony is deteriorating due to this.

On the basis of the complaint, the police, against Digvijay Singh's son Balabhadra Singh, Indore, Indore, Madhya Pradesh 556/19 registered a case under Section 153A / 295A / 298/505 (2) IPC. Superintendent of Police P Vinod Kumar Mishra said a case has been registered against the Congress leader.
