Gorakhpur: Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijay Singh is in constant discussion about his controversial statements. Due to his statements, he is seen in difficulty. Former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijay Singh had given objectionable statements about saffron clothes in the past. A case has been filed against him in Kushinagar for this statement. Now another lawsuit has also been filed in the township.

Rajendra Nath Tiwari, president of Purvanchal Vidyut Parishad, a social organization resident of Nyay Marg in Basti district, has given police a complaint.Digvijay Singh had said in his statement on newspapers and electronic channels that people  were saffron are raping and selling 'Churan'. are being raped by wearing saffron. Wearing saffron and selling Churan. He also gave objectionable remark on 'Jai Siyaram's slogan'. Tiwari said that he is hurt by the Congress leader's statement and is under mental pressure.

Police have registered a case under Section 295A, 505 (2) of the Indian Penal Code on the basis of Tahrir.
