Famous producer of Bollywood films Sam Fernandes has filed a case against actor Aditya Pancholi at Juhu Police Station. He has accused the actor of abusing, threatening and assaulting the hotel. Sam has alleged that Aditya is pressurizing him to retain his son Sooraj Pancholi in the film Hawa Singh.

Along with this, he said, 'I had announced the film with Sooraj in the year 2019. He shot for 12 days. But after the first lockdown, things started giving a little trouble. Investors were holding back from making the film with Sooraj. I discussed with Sooraj and he told me that I can make a film with some other actor.

He further said, 'But Sooraj's father Aditya said that we should work with Suraj only and he will bring investors, but it did not happen. He gave money for the film, but it was not complete. This film is a biopic of India's heavyweight boxer and for this we need a budget of 25 crores. Aditya said that he wanted to meet me and called in the hotel. Now because there were more people in his room, so we went to the corridor and discussed. Then after some time he said that either I should take his son in the film or else he will not allow this film to be made. Thereafter, he abused me and punched me. When I started leaving, he kicked me from the back. After this I went straight to the police station and got a case registered against him.
