Kolkata: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested mastermind Jahangir Sheikh, one of the main accused in the Bogatui massacre and arson case in Birbhum district. Yes, and the arrested accused Jahangir is the brother of slain Trinamool Congress leader Bhadu Sheikh. Let us tell you that CBI arrested Jahangir on Tuesday after getting information from secret sources. He will be produced today i.e. on Wednesday before the Rampurhat Sub-Divisional Court, where a request for CBI custody will be made.

Let us tell you that after the order of the Calcutta High Court, the CBI is probing the matter. Along with this, let us also tell you that on March 21 this year, Bhadu, a resident of Bogtui village and the then Trinamool deputy head of Barshal Gram Panchayat, was attacked and killed with a bomb. After that, many houses in the village were set on fire that night. The next day after this massacre, on the morning of March 22, 7 charred bodies were recovered.
