The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has launched a probe into Oasis School in Hazaribag, which transformed from a small institution to a prominent CBSE school since its establishment in 2012. The focus of the investigation centers around the school's rapid growth trajectory and the actions of its arrested principal, Ehsanul Haque, who is now implicated in the NEET-UG paper leak scandal.

Principal's Role and Connections Under Scrutiny

CBI officials are scrutinizing how Haque managed to secure a position as a city coordinator for the NEET-UG exam, despite Oasis School's recent founding. The agency is also delving into Haque's associations, including a coaching institute teacher, and his two associates who have been arrested: vice principal Mohammad Imtiyaz Alam and journalist Jamaluddin.

Uncovering Financial Transactions and Travel

Suspicions have arisen regarding Haque's trip to Bali, Indonesia shortly after the May 5 NEET-UG exam. Officials suspect this trip, commencing on June 11, may have been a reward for his alleged involvement in the paper leak. The CBI is currently verifying details of his travel, expenses incurred during the trip, and all related bank transactions.

Links to Bihar Paper-Leak Gang

Investigators have uncovered Haque's communications with individuals connected to the Bihar paper-leak gang. "Analysis of his call records indicates multiple connections, necessitating thorough investigation," an official stated. The CBI is intensifying efforts to unravel these links and expose the full scope of the scandal.

The CBI's investigation into Oasis School and its principal's activities marks a critical effort to uphold integrity in educational assessments amidst growing concerns of malpractice.
