Unleashed: CBI team probing the Unnao Rape case reached the home of accused MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar on Sunday. CBI officials also raided several other hideouts of the accused MLA on Sunday. The CBI is investigating the whereabouts of Kuldeep Singh Sengar. CBI teams are raiding the hideouts of Kuldeep Singh Sengar in Lucknow, Unnao, Banda and Fatehpur. The CBI is also likely to transfer the accused Kuldeep Singh Sengar from Sitapur jail to Delhi late Sunday night.
CBI, which is probing the up-and-a-half-year-long rape case, has filed a charge sheet in Delhi's Tis Hazari Court on Saturday. The court has issued production warrants against the accused including Kuldeep Singh Sengar and Shashi Singh. The court has ordered the accused to be produced before the court on August 5 afternoon. The court also asked some of the accused to appear before it on August 6.
A CBI team is also questioning the truck owner today in connection with the road accident case of the rape victim and her lawyer. The CBI had questioned MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, accused in the Upanav rape case, in Sitapur jail on Saturday. A team had also reached Makhi village for investigation.
