Kolkata: The CBI team has once again reached the house of Rajiv Kumar, accused of erasing evidence in the Saradha chit fund scam case and former Kolkata Police Commissioner. The CBI officer reached Kumar's house at number 34 Park Street on Sunday afternoon. There, Sanjita Kumar, wife of Rajiv Kumar, has been questioned by the CBI team.

Sanchita is an IRS officer. He has been questioned by the CBI team for about 15 minutes. Authorities have asked when Sanchita last spoke to Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajiv Kumar. How they can be contacted, where they can go, etc. It is being told that Rajiv's wife has said in two words that she has not had any talks with Rajiv Kumar and she does not know anything about where they are.

CBI officials have also asked whether Rajiv Kumar has tried to contact him recently, to which Sanchita has said that Rajiv Kumar has made no attempt to contact him. After questioning them, the CBI team left for the CGO Complex of Salt Lake.
