In order to ensure that no question is from outside the syllabus, the Central Board of Secondary Education has issued guidelines regarding the value-based exam. According to the board, many types of questions will be asked in the exam. In addition to this, questions will also be asked from inside the chapter. These questions will be from the box inside the chapter. For this, the board has instructed all the schools. Schools have to tell the students. Board exam has few days left. All teachers have been instructed to teach the box in the chapter.

According to the board, value-based questions will be asked in all subjects of 10th and 12th. Value-based questions will be asked in all subjects in Science, Arts and Commerce Faculty of 12th. Value-based questions will be of 8 to 12 marks. Value-based questions of eight to ten marks will also be asked in all subjects of 10th standard.

The board has decided that all the questions will be asked from NCERT and not from any other publication. Options will be available for every question. Students have to answer all the questions. For the past many years, rumours of asking out of syllabus paper have been flying, so NCERT has to give proof that the questions have been asked from inside the syllabus. To avoid all these things, CBSE has instructed the schools before the commencement of the examination.
