CBSE is planning digitalization in the realm of education. Central Board of Secondary Education has introduced new technology called ‘Digi Scoring’ to read the answers on the OMR (Optical Mark recognition) sheets.

CBSE released statement informing that the recruitment exam of Principals and assistant commissioner of KVS , held recently will be evaluated by ‘ Digi scoring ‘. This new process is clear departure from the earlier system of the center wise packing OMR sheets for evaluation, manually transporting sheet across the country to CBSE with utmost care and setting up of scanning machine at secure places for capturing data.

CBSE Chairman RK Chaturvedi announced the initiative and said that it is better alternative because “it can secure each data of examinee in a secure manner without losing precious time, it is cheaper in terms of finance “
