New Delhi, India: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has formed an expert committee to investigate the purported anomalies in the questions and answer key of the Odia paper from the Class 10 Term 1 examinations.

The CBSE said in a statement that the Board will make an appropriate decision within 24 hours based on the expert committee's report. The protest, which came from a school, says that some of the answers in the answer key are incorrect.

Following the announcement of the CBSE result for the Class 10 Term-I test on March 11, the board established a Dispute Redressal Mechanism to resolve students' "legitimate" concerns on the same day, according to CBSE.

"Following that, a school filed a complaint about the Odia topic Answer Key in Class X, saying that the answers given in the answer key for some of the questions are incorrect. As a result, the board has formed an expert committee to investigate the anomalies raised in the representation, with the goal of determining the truth "The CBSE issued a statement.

"An suitable decision will be taken by the Board within 24 hours, based on the expert committee's report," it added.
