Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a major relief to the children of martyrs in the board exams of class 10th, 12th. The board gave this relief to the children of the martyrs of Pulwama accident last year, which has been implemented for the children of all the martyrs this year. A circular is being issued to all schools by Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examination, CBSE. It said that the relief is given to the children of the martyrs in the Pulwama attack last year in the board examination, the same relief will be given to the children of the martyrs this year showing their courage against terrorism or Naxalism.

For this, the children may have to contact their school. The same can be requested by the CBSE Regional Office at the same school level. The last date for sending the request from the school to the Regional Center has been fixed as 31 January. This relief will be given - If the child of a martyr wants to shift his examination center to another place in the same city, then CBSE will give him this facility. If the children of the same martyr want to change their examination center from one city to another, then CBSE will provide this facility to them. If the children are not able to give 10th or 12th practical, then they will be given a chance to sit in a practical exam till April 2. If any subject wants to take the exam later, then the board can arrange for it later.

Ganga, daughter of Pulwama attack martyr Mohanlal Raturi, was given special benefit in CBSE Dehradun 12th examination last year. Ganga later gave a separate examination. CBSE Dehradun regional officer Ranbir Singh said that this time the board has provided this facility for the children of all kinds of martyrs, along with Pulwama.
