The CBSE JEE Main exam is a gateway to IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs. This year, the Paper-1 (BE/BTech) in pen and paper mode on April 8. As per the official website, "There is no weight of class 12 marks in the calculation of ranks in JEE (Main) 2018, so the roll number of class 12 is not verified this year by the CBSE. 

However, the candidates have to show the mark sheet of class 12 (regular/improvement) with 75 percent at the reporting centers at the time of counseling/admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs and other CFTIs."
 

CANDIDATES WHO ARE APPEARING TOMORROW FOR CBSE JEE MAIN 2018 EXAM CAN CHECK OUT THE ITEMS WHICH ARE PROHIBITED IN THE EXAMINATION HALL:
 

Items allowed for diabetes students are the following:

Eatables like sugar tablets
Fruits (like banana/apple/orange)
Transparent water bottle
But, these candidates are not allowed to carry packed food like chocolate/candy/sandwich in the examination hall

List of items which are not allowed inside the examination hall:

Textual material
Calculators
Docu pen
Slide rules
Log tables
Electronic watches with facilities of calculator
Printed or written material
Bits of papers
Mobile phone
Pager
Tea, coffee and cold drinks are not allowed

Items which are allowed:

Admit card
Identity proof
Document as required

IMPORTANT DATES:

Exam date for offline mode: April 8

Exam date for online mode: April 15 and 16

Answer keys and OMR release date: April 24-April 27

JEE Main result: April 30
