The 'Oru Kadhal Seivee' star actress, Sanjjana Galrani, has recently been in news with drug consumption case. The Tamil actress has recently been called for questioning by the Central Crime Branch in connection with the Sandalwood drugs case. Earlier one of her friend Rahul Shetty was too arrested by the CCB.

Recently the officers of crime branch raided her residence in Bengaluru. According to police sources, a raid was conducted by the CCB at Sanjjana's Indira Nagar residence in Bengaluru and after that, the multilingual actress was taken into custody. Sanjjanaa's association in the drug scandal was produced after two persons in custody Rahul Shetty of Bengaluru and Pruthvi Shetty confessed about their operation.

Earlier, actress Ragini Dwivedi was also taken into custody last week. The CCB plea of the actress has been accepted by the court and hence her custody has been extended till the end of this week. The stories unfolded after a television actress, who supplied drugs, was arrested and director Indrajit Lankesh voluntarily revealed the names of few actors, music directors and filmmakers involved.
