Haridwar: Both have been cremated after the death of the country's first CDS Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat. The bones of the two will now be immersed in haridwar ganga today i.e. Let me tell all of you that CDS Bipin Rawat and his wife along with other military officers died suddenly in a helicopter accident in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu on 8th December. The ashes of General Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat will be immersed at VIP Ghat at 10 am today i.e.

As part of the recent information received, Shri Mahant Ravindrapuri, President, All India Akhara Parishad and Niranjani Akhara Secretary and Shri Mahant Harigiri, General Secretary, Haridwar said, "Akharas and Sant Samaj will work together to build a grand shaheed dham in the memory of General Bipin Rawat. Which will become the fifth dham of Uttarakhand. With the visit of the four holy shrines of Uttarakhand, pilgrims will also come to visit this dham. Further, Shri Mahanta said, "In this hour of grief, the entire Sant Samaj and The All India Akhara Parishad stand firmly with the families of the departed martyrs and the nation. Amar Shaheed General Bipin Rawat was the precious gem of Uttarakhand. Who brought glory to India all over the world with their brilliance. '

According to reports, bipin Rawat and his wife's ashes will be brought to Haridwar by their daughters Kritika and Tarini and family members. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt are also likely to arrive here. A special Army aircraft carrying the ashes of CDS Bipin Rawat left Delhi at 6 am for JollyGrant. On the other hand, the honourable bones will be brought to Haridwar by road from Jollygrant Airport. It is said that their ashes will be immersed in the Ganga amidst Vedic chants at VIP Ghat at around 11 am.
