Coonoor: An Indian Air Force MI-17V5 helicopter crashed near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. In the helicopter crash, 13 persons including Chief Defence Chairman (CDS) General Vipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika were killed. This has been reported by the Indian Air Force. His death has sent shock waves across the country. Everyone is bidding them their last farewell in their own way.

The country is shocked by the sad news of the death of Vipin rawatji, his wife Madhulika ji and 12 other jawans, the country's first CDS. For your information, Chief of Defence Staff General Vipin Rawat  was on his way to Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, Coonoor district to deliver the scheduled lecture by Air Force Mi-17VH helicopter at around 3 pm on Wednesday. The helicopter had taken off from Sulur airbase and was on its way to Wellington. This caused the helicopter to crash.
