Noted criminal lawyer Shrikant Shivade has passed away. He was only 67 years old and people are surprised by his demise at this age. Shivade was reportedly battling leukaemia (blood cancer) and Shrikant Shivade was in the news for several high profile cases. Shrikant Shivade, a law graduate from Indian Law Society, had represented Tyagi in 2G scam, Salman Khan in a hit-and-run case, Lt Col Prasad Purohit in Malegaon bomb blast case, Shiney Ahuja in a sexual assault case, former Mumbai police chief RD Tyagi in Suleman Bakery firing case, Deepak Kulkarni in a fraud case, Peter Mukherjee in Sheena Vohra case.

Not only that but in 2018, he successfully defended actors Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam acquitted in the blackbuck poaching case in Rajasthan. However, Shrikant Shivade had been in the news for the Salman Khan hit-and-run issue and had given relief to the actor in the matter.
