New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has changed the exam pattern of the session 2020 and applied practical and internal assessment in most of the subjects in which it was not yet applicable. It is being told that the internal assessment will be of 20 marks, in which students will have to get at least 6 numbers to pass. The board has released the list of minimum marks in theory, project and internal assessment for the students of class 10th and 12th.

The CBSE circular states that an examiner will be appointed by the board to take up the project and practical examinations. At the same time, the internal assessment will be done by the teachers of the school itself. Apart from this, students of class 10th have to get only 33% marks in practical and theory in each subject for passing. However, students of 12th have to bring 33 % marks in practical, theory and internal assessment separately.

In class 12, the examination of subjects like Hindi, English, Mathematics etc. used to be of 100 marks. But, according to the new system, now an internal assessment of 20 points will also be done. It has been said in the circular that in the paper of 70 marks exam, students have to bring at least 23 numbers to pass. At the same time, it will be necessary to bring 9 marks in the practical examination out of 30 marks.
