New Delhi: The Modi government of the Center has approved a package of 80 thousand crores for the development of Jammu and Kashmir. This information has been given by the Ministry of Human Resources. Taking a historic decision in the month of August last year, the central government had removed most of the provisions of Section 370 giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir. It was announced to remove all the other clauses except section A of 370.

At the same time, this border bordering state was divided into union territories. The Union Cabinet also approved the Rs 6,000 crore 'Atal Jal Mission Yojana' in the name of former PM Atal Bihari Japayi. The allocation of Rs 4,000 crore for 'Atal Tunnel' was also cleared. At the same time, the Cabinet has approved a plan of Rs 1,854 crore for the Swadesh Tourism Scheme.

At the same time, it has been decided in the meeting that Daman and Diu and the new capital of Dadar and Nagar Haveli will be Daman. Along with this, the cabinet has also approved changes in the Goods and Services Tax, Value Added Tax and State Excise Acts accordingly.
