New Delhi: The central government is very attentive to the security system. The government is taking every possible step to protect the country. In this series, the government will monitor the travel of domestic air travelers. Airline companies have been suggested to share complete data of domestic passengers with the National Intelligence Grid (NetGrid). However, no decision has been taken so far by the aviation companies and the Civil Aviation Ministry and DGCA.

Currently, airlines share the data of all passengers going to and from abroad with the Bureau of Customs and Immigration. According to a report published in a newspaper, officials of DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation and NetGrid met on 30 August. It was asked to share the data of air travelers. The Ministry of Civil Aviation and DGCA have suggested that data can be shared with an agency.

All data will go to NetGrid, which can be shared later with IB, RAW, CBI, Central Board of Direct Taxes, DRI, ED, Norcotics Control Bureau, Directorate General of GST Intelligence, Custom, Central Indirect Tax Board and Financial Intelligence Unit . Please tell that NetGrid was formed in 2008. It was formed by the then Home Minister and the now jailed P Chidambaram. The BJP, which was sitting in opposition at the time, strongly opposed it.
