Corona families will get compensation, Portal will be released within two weeks

New Delhi: The Modi government at the Centre has assured the Supreme Court that an online portal will be developed within two weeks. This will enable claims for compensation by the lives of patients who have lost their lives due to coronavirus infection. The Supreme Court said there are many people who lost their relatives due to the coronavirus.

The Supreme Court said these people still do not know about the compensation plan. In such a situation, governments should give wide publicity. The Supreme Court said a system should also be created where victims can claim compensation online. All opposition parties, including the Congress, had pressured the Central government to provide compensation to the next of kin of the corona deceased to secure their future. An application for the same was also filed in the Supreme Court.

In September, the Central Government had told the Supreme Court that the state governments would provide a compensation of Rs. 50,000 to the families who lost their lives due to the Coronavirus. The Supreme Court was also told that the compensation would be paid to those who lost their lives so far from Corona, including those who lost their lives in the future.
