New Delhi: Corona infection is continuously spreading and central and state governments are engaged in an exercise to avoid it. The Central Government has asked for the introduction of immunization for children in the age group of 15 to 18 years. And frontline workers and those above 60 years of age who have any other disease will also be given another precaution (booster) dose of vaccine. Immunization for adolescents will be started from 3rd January and for the elderly from 10th January.

The state health department will hold a meeting with central officials on Tuesday for its rule training. It is generally believed that the effect of the vaccine begins to subside after six to seven months. In this case, there should be a gap of at least nine months between the booster dose and the second dose. The vaccine will be introduced from January 10 to people who have a second dose before March. Here, the children will have to put their ID proof. For booster dose, both more than 45 and more than 60 will have to upload the doctor's co-diabetes certificate on the Covin app.

It has been reported that 22 diseases are included in the government's comorbidities list. Many children do not have an Aadhaar card or voter ID card. Officials say that though there are no clear guidelines now, the child will also be valid if he has an ID card of the school. If it is not there also, it is the Central Department which will issue directions in this regard. Guidelines for children will be issued today, other instructions for booster doses may also be received along with children. Meanwhile, clear guidelines on vaccination will be issued.
