New Delhi: Young Punjab Congress workers have set a tractor on fire near India Gate in the national capital, protesting against farm bills in the country. Congress workers also raised slogans against pm Modi-led government at the centre. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has attacked the Congress party over the incident that took place in New Delhi on Monday morning.

He has said that the Congress party is doing wrong with the farmers. The Congress party will have to pay a big price to mislead the people and adopt anti-farmer attitudes. It is not correct to harm the farmers and destroy public properties for their benefit. It may be mentioned that about 15-20 unidentified persons belonging to the Punjab Youth Congress against the agricultural bills brought by the centre gathered at India Gate on Monday morning and handed over the tractor to the fire.

However, the police personnel have taken action in the matter as well as control of the tractor fire. In the case of burning this tractor, the police have so far made five people to rest. All the five people are residents of Punjab and according to the police, legal action has been initiated against them. The people who were gathered on the spot were martyred-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Amar and also raised slogans like anti-farmer, Narendra Modi.
