In the meantime, he attacked the opposition and said the Congress was misleading the farmers over the agricultural law. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi briefed the farmers about the agriculture reform bill in Chowpal and explained its benefits. Naqvi said that while the agricultural reform law on the one hand ensures elimination of middlemen. On the other hand, the law guarantees better prices of farmers' crops. The Modi government is taking steps to strengthen the farmers.

The Union minister said in Kisan Chaupal that with the passage of these bills, farmers will now have the freedom to store and sell their produce and will be saved from the clutches of middlemen. Farmers will be able to connect directly with the buyer, which will enable the farmers to get the full price for their produce.
