New Delhi: The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) wants to file cases in 100 corruption cases against the central government for the last four months, but it is not getting permission. Among these employees are several Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Apart from these, CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED) officers are also included in this list.

According to the CVC, under the rules, to register a case against government employees accused of corruption, approval has to be given in four months. But the central government is not giving permission. For this reason, the investigation is delayed against these 100 employees. According to the CVC, in a total of 51 cases, a case has to be filed against about 97 officers. Of these, 8 cases are pending with the Nodal Authority Personnel and Training Department in the anti-corruption case.

Similarly, in 11 cases, the file of 23 officers is stuck with Corporation Bank, New India Assurance, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Union Bank of India and Ministry of Human Resources. The CVC has said that the UP government has not received approval to file a case against six officers. Similarly, two or two such cases are pending with the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Department of Revenue, Punjab National Bank and Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
