New Delhi: After repealing several provisions of recently released Article 370, the Central Government on Monday issued a declaration in the Supreme Court in which it has vindicated its decision to repeal several provisions of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. The government said that the terrorists and separatists in the country are taking the wrong advantage of it and hindering the development of the state. Wherever the decision to abolish Article 35A giving special rights to the permanent residents of the state has also been corrected by the government.

In response to these petitions, the Central Government has said that Article 370 for Jammu and Kashmir, in its original form, has been declared as a temporary arrangement in the Constitution.
