Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has hinted at the possibility of an electric vehicle from OLA. Aggarwal tokk to twitter and and said by saying that somebody who bought a Tata Nexon EV and an Ola S1 e-scooter would then buy an Ola electric car. "The Ola electric car should be the next vehicle replacement," Bhavish Aggarwal remarked in a tweet.

OLA has been operating in India for some years, joined the EV manufacturing sector. It introduced the Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters, which are built in India and have received a lot of positive feedback. The corporation is now attempting to get into the electric car market.

Ola's CEO has earlier said that the company planning to launch an electric vehicle by 2023. Ola's first electric car, according to Aggarwal, would be available in 2023, and the initiative will be supported by Japan's Softbank Group.

He went on to say that the firm wants to make India a worldwide powerhouse for electric vehicles. However, Ola has yet to provide any other information regarding its upcoming electric vehicle. The Ola electric car would most likely be manufactured at the EV maker's factory in Tamil Nadu. This facility is presently touted as the world's largest electric scooter production facility.

In India, demand for electric vehicles is rapidly expanding. Due to the high cost of gasoline and diesel, the lower cost of ownership for EVs compared to ICE vehicles, tightening pollution rules, and increased awareness about vehicular emissions that contribute to global warming, the country is projected to see significant growth in electric vehicles.

Meanwhile, Ola Cars, Ola's new wing, has recently entered the business of selling used cars in India. This sector offers used vehicles in a majority of Indian cities.
