ICC 2019 Cricket World Cup is around the corner. They are looking to bring home the elusive title for the first time since 2011. Before leaving for England, Ravi Shastri and skipper Virat Kohli addressed a press conference in Mumbai where they talk about World Cup.

India will play two warm-up matches against New Zealand and Bangladesh before facing South Africa in their tournament opener. Skipper thinks that the change in format makes this edition one of the most challenging World Cups in history.

He said, “Certainly most challenging World Cup considering the format of the tournament, also if you look at all the teams, they are really close. Even someone like Afghanistan have made so much progress in 2015. Every game will have to play best to our potential, its a different challenge which everyone will have to adapt to.”

2019 World Cup begins on 30, The 5 June for Team India as they play their first match against South Africa at the Rose Bowl Cricket Ground. Team India is yet to name their final 15-man squad for the World Cup but changes are unlikely to happen.
