Since Ekta Kapoor has made an announcement regarding the remake of her superhit daily soap, Kasauti Zindagi Ki, there have been a lot of speculations regarding who would be the star cast of the reboot. The former version featured, Shweta Tiwari, Cezanne Khan, Urvashi Dholakia and Ronit Roy playing the pivotal roles. The three actors including Shweta Tiwari, Urvashi Dholakia, and Ronit Roy have already wished the new team with all the luck. Well, viewers were more keen to know the reaction of Cezanne Khan, who played the character of Anurag Basu in the show. In one of his recent interviews, Cezanne Khan on being asked about his opinion on the remake of the show, asserted, "The idea of rebooting an old hit show is refreshing and amazing."
Talking about the show he said, “I can never forget the show that gave me everything — popularity and success". He also added, "I really enjoyed being on the show and playing the role of Anurag Basu on KSK. The show rocked and how. Everything I have today is because of it. KSK was always in the top 10 shows on the ratings chart. Though, I didn’t get much time to watch the serial myself as I was shooting non-stop, from the 1400-plus episodes, I must have seen some 20 episodes because I was dubbing for the scenes in them. I wish the team all the luck for the reboot.”
The actor said that he has not been in contact with Shweta and Urvashi but has been in a constant contact with his co-stars, Deepak Qazir and Ankur Nayyar.
Currently, Cezanne Khan has been working in some Pakistani daily soaps.
