America's twenty-third Grand Slam winner Serena Williams is now fully fit and ready to play tennis after a long break of six months. She has started preparations for the first 'Top Seed Open' starting on Monday near Lexington. Recently, this tournament was included in the Hard Court tournament, which is going to be preparing for the US Open in New York this month.
After the month of March, the first WTA tournament is going to be held in the US, in which there will be no audience. Serena's sister and 7-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams, Victoria Azarenka, Sloane Stephens and rising star Coco Gough are scheduled to participate. Serena, the 9th ranked player, played for America in the Fed Cup in February, this is going to be her first tournament since then.
For your information, let us tell you that Serena has been having problems related to blood clots and lungs, due to which she has to be more vigilant about Corona. The 38-year-old's player said, "I have to live a lot because it is okay to play tennis, but this is my life and this is my health."
