Dehrarun: Cabinet Minister Chandan Ramdas's health suddenly deteriorated on Wednesday due to the Assembly session. Thereafter, he was taken to Dehradun Hospital. However, due to the absence of a cardiologist in Doon Hospital, he had to be taken to Max Hospital. Dr Khatri of Dehradun Hospital said, "In view of the deaths taking place in Chardham, a committee was formed, due to which Amar Upadhyay, a cardiologist at Doon Medical College, was also sent to Chardham.  

However, medical superintendent of Dehradun hospital P.C. Pant and Dr. Anurag saw minister Chandan Ramdas and referred him to Max when the ECG was disturbed. CM Pushkar Dhami reached Max Hospital to know the condition of Minister Chandan Ramdas. Subsequently, Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat also reached Max Hospital. On being referred to Max Hospital from Dehradun Hospital after the condition of minister Chandan Ramdas worsened, former Congress state president Pritam Singh said, "The state health department itself is sick. There is a shortage of cardiologists, it is a very pathetic situation. " 

On the other hand, in Uttarakhand, the office bearers of unemployed organisations, youth created a ruckus against the implementation of the Agneepath scheme. The youth tore up posters, banners put up by the BJP in different areas of the city and shouted slogans against the Centre and the state government. At the same time, in Pithoragarh, the youths put up a jam in Siltham, due to which thousands of people were stuck in the jam here.
