Ban on Holi Milan celebrations, Chandigarh administration issues order

Chandigarh: In view of the growing havoc of the coronavirus, the Chandigarh administration has taken tough decisions on the festival of Holi. Under these decisions, the administration has canceled the Holi Milan celebrations in Chandigarh. Also, hotels, restaurants, or clubs have issued instructions not to schedule Holi. The administration, in its order, has instructed people to celebrate the festival of Holi in the houses.

Restrictions imposed by Chandigarh Administration in the city:-

- All eating points (dining space) will be closed at 11 p.m.

-All eating joints open in all eating places, hotels, restaurants, and malls will open with a 50% capacity

-Sukhna Lake, malls, markets, and mandis will be strictly on the rules of covid

-To sell vegetables and fruits, the trains will be sent to residential areas so that there is no crowd of people in the mandis.

-In Chandigarh, any social and political gathering and even wedding program will have to be allowed by the DC. DC will determine the count of guests.

-In wedding ceremonies, political gatherings, or other events, the organizer will have the responsibility to wear all guest masks.

-Chandigarh will be prohibited from organizing any exhibition and fair.

-The already ongoing exhibition and fair have been allowed to run for the stipulated time.
