Chandigarh: The sensation spread after a corona-infected patient jumped from the fifth floor and committed suicide on Sunday morning at Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh. According to the information, 60-year-old Chunni Lal, a resident of Sector 55, was admitted to GMCH 32 due to being found corona infected. Chunni Lal was mentally stressed due to Corona.

On Sunday morning, Chunni Lal saw the opportunity and jumped from the fifth floor of the hospital. Security guards stationed on the ground floor below took him to the emergency ward and took him in critical condition. Where doctors declared him dead during treatment. After getting the information of the case, the police of Sector 31 reached the hospital and recorded the statements of doctors and security personnel and sent the corpse for post-mortem.

Four security guards who were picked up and taken to the emergency ward after being killed by a Corona-infected person on Sunday in GMCH 32 have also been sent to quarantine after investigation. Because when he brought a blood-soaked corona patient, he did not wear globs, PPE kits etc.
