Chandigarh: A number of cases are coming out from the country on the same day, a big case of theft has come to light at Axis Bank located in Sector 34, Chandigarh, where the security guard ran away from the bank after stealing 4 crores. Bank employees informed the police today at five o'clock in the morning.

As per the news received, the bank employees said that the security guard's duty is from 10 am to 6 am. But he has been missing since three o'clock in the morning and he was last seen in the CCTV footage at three o'clock. Due to which he has full suspicion that the guard has committed theft of 4 crores.

The same bank employees said that 4 security guards were sent on behalf of Punjab Police, one of which was Sumit. Sumit's duty was on Sunday. Sumit is a resident of Phase-8 of Mohali. He was often used to deposit cash at Axis Bank ATMs of Sector-34. In the night, Sumit cut off the truck containing the cash and ran away with the cash kept in it. A case has been registered against the security guard. The police are continuously raiding his whereabouts. The Chandigarh Police is searching for the culprit. The case continues to be investigated.
