TDP  Chief N Chandrababu Naidu thanked Home Minister Amit Shah for improving the map of Andhra Pradesh capital Amravati. It may be noted that the TDP ministers raised the issue of not showing Amravati in the state map. After which the government rectified the mistake of not including Amravati in the map.

According to media reports, Naidu wrote a letter of thanks to Amit Shah after including Amravati in the map. Naidu said in a letter to Shah that I personally and on behalf of the people of the state thank you for the steps you have taken to immediately include Amravati in the map of India. I also thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for immediately modifying the map of India and publishing it.

Apart from this, Naidu sent a similar letter to the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kishan Reddy. TDP General Secretary Lokesh had tweeted that it was Chandrababu Naidu who included Amravati on the world map and MP Jaydev Galla raised voice in Parliament to include Amravati in the Lok Sabha.
