TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu began a 36-hour diksha at TDP office against the attack on TDP offices. Naidu expressed displeasure over the registration of cases against TDP leaders. He was upset over the registration of a case of attempt to murder against TDP leaders. He said the TDP office was attacked as a plan and said that law and order has failed in Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrababu said that he called the DGP at 05:03 pm on Tuesday that the party office was going to be attacked but the call was not picked up. He also said that despite calling there was no response from other police seniors and hence he immediately called up the governor and complained that TDP offices and leaders were simultaneously targeted across the state.

The TDP national president had said that he had urged Union Home Minister Amit Shah to respond immediately to the police and government attack on TDP offices. He called it an attack on the people and democracy. Chandrababu further said that it is not good for the police to be close to those who attacked the TDP party office and leaders. "We are fighting against the anti-people policies of the government," Naidu said.
