New Delhi: ISRO's ambitious project Chandrayaan-2 has moved closer to the moon. Chandrayaan-2 successfully entered the fourth orbit of the moon at 6.18 p.m. on Friday (August 30).  Chandrayaan-2 will undergo several complex procedures during a soft landing on the moon's south pole on September 7. On September 7 in Bengaluru, 60 children from all across the country will see Chandrayaan-2 landing on the surface of the moon along with PM Narendra Modi.

According to information, Chandrayaan-2 will now enter the next orbit of the moon on September 1 and the Lander Vikram will be separated from Composite Body on September 2. It will then land on the moon at about 1.55 p.m. late on September 7. PM Modi will see Chandrayaan-2 land on the surface of the moon in Bengaluru. Many students will also have the opportunity to see this historical scene.

These students have been selected under the online quiz program to win. Two students from every region are being selected on the basis of online quiz. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has launched Chandrayaan-2 to study on the moon on July 22. Chandrayaan-2 has been launched by spacecraft GSLV Mark 3/3/4 The M1 rocket known as 'Bahubali Rocket'.
