Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Bangalore  after concluding his international visit, expressed his deep appreciation for the ISRO scientists responsible for this achievement. A grand 26-kilometer-long roadshow was planned to showcase the nation's appreciation for this remarkable achievement. After a 40-day voyage through space, the Chandrayaan-3 lander, 'Vikram,' gracefully touched down on the unexplored lunar South Pole on Wednesday, August 23, at 6:04 pm. This achievement marks a historical first for India, positioning the nation as a trailblazer in lunar exploration.

The spacecraft's journey commenced with its launch from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Andhra Pradesh's Sriharikota on July 14.
