Jammu: Once again the weather has turned in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Snowfall is occurring in hilly areas and in plains. There has been heavy snowfall in South and North Kashmir. In the last 24 hours, Gulmarg recorded 6 inches of snow, Gurez recorded one foot of snow, while the heavy snow in the vicinity of Jawahar Tunnel in South Kashmir is getting even faster.

The work of removing snow from the roads in Gurez is going on: It has been learned that the snowfall in Ladakh has been intensifying since Sunday. While light snowfall continues in Kargil, there is heavy snowfall in Drass and Zojila. The opening of the Srinagar-Leh highway will be further delayed due to this fresh snowfall.

This year, after a lot of hard work, the Border Roads Organization had completely removed the snow from the Zojila road on 27 February and started the process of opening this road. But after this, the weather has turned bad and now the snow has taken possession of the road once again.
