Chandigarh: CM Charanjeet Singh Channi, who commanded Punjab after Captain Amarinder Singh, is set to contest the assembly elections from two seats. However, the Congress is yet to release the list of candidates. According to media reports, the Congress is likely to release the first list for the Punjab Assembly elections after the CEC meeting tomorrow i.e.

Punjab's first Dalit CM Charanjeet Singh Channi has decided to contest from Chamkaur Saheb and Adampur assembly seats. This will also be announced tomorrow. Meanwhile, there are still doubts about Punjab Congress unit president Navjot Singh Sidhu contesting the assembly elections. All eyes will be on Patiala seat when the Congress party releases the first list for punjab assembly elections tomorrow.

This is because Captain Amarinder Singh is going to enter the fray from this seat. The Captain has formed the Punjab Lok Congress (PLC) after he parted ways with the Congress party. He will lock horns with patiala seat on his party's symbol. Tell me, for nearly 20 years, no one has been able to snatch this seat from Captain Amarinder, he has won elections from here continuously.
