Amritsar: Punjab Congress unit president Navjot Singh Sidhu has not been allowed to visit Kartarpur Sahib today. Today, CM Charanjit Singh Channi and several ministers of his cabinet will visit Kartarpur Sahib along with a group of 14 people. Sidhu will now visit Kartarpur Sahib on November 20.

Sidhu's media advisor Surinder Dalla informed that Sidhu will now visit Kartarpur Sahib on November 20 instead of 18. He said Sidhu had also prepared to go to Kartarpur on Thursday. According to Dalla, Sidhu had applied on Tuesday to go to Kartarpur. But his application was rejected. According to sources, the authority has allowed a group of 14-14 people from the Punjab government to visit Kartarpur Sahib. Navjot Singh Sidhu will now be able to bow his head at Kartarpur Sahib on November 20 in the third batch.

Kartarpur corridor was closed due to the corona epidemic. However, it has now been resumed from November 17, after which devotees will be able to visit Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan. There was also a demand from Pakistan to open the Kartarpur corridor. Kartarpur corridor was closed on March 16, 2020.
