Dehradun: Due to rain, a situation of crisis has arisen in many states of the country. Meanwhile, on Monday, several routes have been blocked due to debris from Badrinath Highway. Traffic has started on the third day on the Kedarnath walking route. According to the information, the Badrinath highway has been blocked from coming to Lambgarh, Pagalnala, Bhanerpani, Kshetrapal, Peepalkoti. Mandal-Gopeshwar road is closed at Devalthar.

The Gaurikund-Kedarnath walkway blocked by landslides for 2 days has been opened for traffic this morning. Due to which the Kedarnath yatra has been smooth today for the third day. From Sonprayag till 8 am 100 passengers left for Kedarnath on Saturday, half a kilometer from Gaurikund. The former walking route was closed because of which the journey was stopped.

The landslide-damaged Gaurikund-Kedarnath footpath was blocked on the second day as well. Due to this, the operation of Kedarnath Yatra was also stopped. More than 400 devotees from outside areas including the city were stopped in Sonprayag and Gaurikund. About half a kilometer ahead of Gaurikund from the hill, the Kedarnath walking route was closed last Saturday morning due to the highest landslides. More than 12 laborers were employed by the District Disaster Management Authority-Lonivi to repair the route, but on Sunday too twice the landslide caused a massive debris pile up again, 25 meters of debris has also collapsed. Due to this, people had to face some troubles.
