Haridwar: Chardham Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham existing in Uttarakhand have announced the date of closure. In Uttarakhand, the date of closure and opening date of Char Dham Gates is fixed every year. The opening hours are in March-April and the closings are done in October-November. In this episode, the date of closure of the Chardham Gates has been fixed in the board meeting on Sunday.

The doors of Badrinath Dham will be closed at 3.35 pm on November 19 due to winter. The doors of Kedarnath Dham will be closed on the upcoming Bhauduj after Diwali. The gates of Yamunotri Dham will be closed on 16 November in the morning on Bhaiyuduj. Gangotri Dham gates will be closed for the winter season on November 15, on the occasion of Annakoot.

The second Kedar Madmaheshwar Ji's doors will be closed on November 19 at 7 am. The third Kedar Tungnath Ji's pat will be closed on November 4 at 11.30. According to mythological beliefs, the announcement of the Gates closure of Lord Shri Badrivishal Ji on Dussehra is determined by almanac calculation. On giving information to the media in-charge of Devasthanam Board, Dr Harish Gaur has told that according to the almanac, the date of closure of the gates has been fixed.
