Bastar: Seven Naxals have been killed in an anti-naxal operation in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. DIG P Sundar Raj of Anti Naxal Operation said that the DRG and STF of Chhattisgarh Police have killed 7 naxals in Tiriya area of Bastar district. He said, one INSAS rifle, 4 three not three rifles and other ammunition have been recovered from the naxalites.

According to news agency ANI, six Naxals have surrendered to the police in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district on Saturday. A reward of 32 lakh rupees was declared on all these Naxals. In fact, just one day before the Naxalite martyrs week, seven uniformed Naxalites were killed in an encounter between police and Naxalites in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, which is being identified.

Police recovered guns and a large quantity of explosive materials including bodies from the spot. DIG Naxal operation Sundarraj informed that the bodies of seven uniformed Naxals have been recovered from the spot. The bodies of three women and four men, who are being identified, are still under search operation.
