NEW YORK: A couple has filed a case for an unimaginable accident at the fertility clinic and has sought damages. In fact, the twins that the pregnant woman gave birth to with the help of fertility clinic were not theirs. After the birth of the twins, their biological parents claimed the children and the woman had to hand over the baby to them.

The case has come to light from the CHA Fertility Centre in Los Angeles, U.S. The Asian couple, who married in 2012, contacted the Fertility Centre when they hadnot had a child for a long time. According to media reports, the clinic claims to assist in the birth of thousands of couples. The fertility clinic cost the couple about Rs 68 lakh on month-to-month treatment. In September, the woman had managed to get pregnant. The clinic reported that female embryos have been used for pregnancy.

However, sonogram tests have shown that there are 2 boys in the woman's womb. The couple were surprised to see the test. However, he was assured by the clinic that the sonograph test was not entirely correct. But in March of the same year, the woman gave birth to twin boys. The children then had to hand over to their biological parents. Both children were non-Asian breeds and investigations revealed that both were not even single parents. The couple has sought damages for various losses in the case.
