The Bollywood may have reformed several old songs this year like - Tamma Tamma Again, Humma Humma, and Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast, to name a few - but, similar to every year, the Hindi film industry also gave us some romantic and passionate hits that I think you should just have on your phone. We've pulled some of the catchiest (read cheesiest, in a good way) love songs from 2017 that is definitely a find a place on your playlist next year too. And yes, they also carry Meri Pyaari Bindu's Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi and Half Girlfriend's Baarish, along with some underdogs, which took their time but grew on us eventually. Bookmark this playlist for when you're in a lovey-dovey mood.

Humsafar, Badrinath Ki Dulhania

This one we're all guilty of singing to our crushes and partners, especially after a drink or two.

Zaalima, Raaes

Zaalima, particularly, its lyrics, was a breath of fresh air for millennial souls, who’ve been subjected to songs like Tera Pyaar Pyaar Pyaar Hookah Bar.

Maana Ke Hum Yar Nahin, Meri Pyaari Bindu

This ode to unrequited love and connections that refuse to die is Parineeti Chopra’s first foray into singing.

Yeh Ishq Hai, Rangoon

Didn't it remind you of music maestro AR Rahman's title track for Dil Se? Well, it did bear some resemblance to that number, but with a Vishal Bhardwaj twist, of course.

Baarish, Half Girlfriend

A dull adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's already terrible novel, Half Girlfriend turned out to be one of the biggest flops this year. BUT, just like Jab Harry Met Sejal, a few of its songs sold its movie tickets.

Nazm Nazm, Bareilly Ki Barfi

We’re willing to bet there’s no one who hasn’t heard this number and been hooked from the first listen.

Hawaayein, Jab Harry Met Sejal

The Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma movie was a disaster, no doubt. But we have to admit, its saving grace was Pritam da's music.

Enna Sona, OK Jaanu

If you look beyond Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor’s cliched romance, this Arijit Singh song is one of the best romantic songs Bollywood ever gave us.
