London: At Wembley Stadium on Sunday, Chelsea smashed Arsenal 3-0 to win the 2020-21 Women's FA Cup and clinch the English treble for the first time.

On the 50th anniversary of the competition, Emma Hayes' side, who also won the Women's Super League title and the League Cup earlier this year, won the trophy in front of 40,942 people at Wembley. Chelsea's third FA Cup final victory, and all three of their titles have come under Hayes' leadership.

Fran Kirby, an England international, scored the game's first goal after only two minutes, and Chelsea's victory was sealed by Sam Kerr's two braces in the second half (57th and 77th minutes). After former Matilda Taryn Rockall, who won the FA Cup with Arsenal in 1999, Kerr became the second Australian to do it.

"It wasn't going in in the first half. It might have been 4-0 or 5-0, but they held their ground. We knew that if we kept pushing, they would eventually give in, and they did "She told the BBC about it. "I'm paid to score goals, but our defence was incredible and it was a collective effort - I can't wait to celebrate!" she said.
