In the 38th edition of the Federation Cup despite their win over Churchill Brothers at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack yesterday the Chennai City FC bowed out.
For the semi-finals izawl, FC and Kingfisher East Bengal have been qualified. Dhanpal Ganes (18'), Edwin Sydney (61') and Brazilian Charles de Souza (79') scored from the Chennai FC side which gave them three points.
Churchill Brothers find themselves at the bottom of Group A with one point and no wins in three matches.
