Abu Dhabi: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on Delhi Capitals (DC) in Dubai today in the 50th match of the 14th season of IPL. Both teams have made it to the playoffs. The match is extremely important, as it will largely determine which team will move forward at the top of the league stage. The match will be played from 7:30 PM Indian Time.

Both the teams have lost one match each in the second leg of the IPL so far and are now eyeing to get the top spot. Earlier, Delhi beat Chennai by 7 wickets in the first leg of the current IPL. So far, 24 matches have been played between the two teams in the IPL. Chennai have won 15 matches, while Delhi has won 9. CSK, who performed disappointingly last season, turned the dice this time and became the first team to make it to the playoffs. The Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led team, however, suffered on Saturday due to a stellar performance by Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Chennai was 189 for 4 in the match, but the brilliant innings of successful Jaiswal and Shivam Dubey stopped them from defending the big score. RR won in 17.3 overs. This is CSK's first defeat in the UAE and the third overall setback in 12 matches. Now CSK has 18 points from 12 matches, just like Delhi, but Dhoni's team remains at the top due to a better run rate. Royal Challengers Bengaluru also have a chance to reach the top two and Chennai and Delhi teams will not want to make any mistakes in this match.
